Moved to Ghost

Moved to Ghost

Looking to restart writing again, I have decided to move the handful of articles that I have to the Ghost platform. Managing the previous WordPress-powered blog was becoming unwieldy for me to maintain. I hadn't really taken care of it as well as I would have wanted, which is a shame in and of itself, so it became slow and clunky. On the other hand, it made the move much easier as I only have a few things to migrate.

I was pleasantly surprised with the ease and speed in which I was able to make Ghost up and running in my local machine as well as in my private cloud. I had anticipated a more involved effort.

A new beginning.

Nothing like a fresh coat of paint to jump start myself into writing again.

I like how Ghost looks clean and minimal, not to mention the dark mode editor. The integration with other content providers such as Unsplash was really nice, among others. I have only really scratched the surface of what the Ghost platform's capabilities are. I am very excited to explore them all.

That's it. I look forward to sharing more of my thoughts to the world. Cheers.
